The rainy weather has finally cleared and it was time to kick off the 2013 Mt Cotton Kermesse. We meandered our way on our bikes down to Mt Cotton to get a good warm up before the race. Little did we know that warming up was the last things we needed with the heat that was on the way. The course is a hilly circuit at the Mt Cotton Driver Training Centre. The final part of the course is an uphill pinch followed by a left hairpin turn and then downhill to the finish line. Being near the front for the climb and downhill finish were going to be key to getting on the podium.Read more: Mt Cotton Kermesse
I rode this course last year and did not have a good time. There was a strong wind blowing and it is up and down the whole way. I thought I would try it again anyway and see how it went. I was expecting a tough day out...
